BTS Bandsaw

Description

Unique features and differences:

• The stationary table is not removable, it forms part of the body of the bandsaw.
• The stationary table is 3mm thick ( double that of other bandsaws on the market). This table cannot move around or buckle under load.
• The stationary table is hygienic as no dirt can accumulate underneath it.
• The sliding table is also 3mm thick.
• The design of the sliding mechanism is based on the design used on roller coasters. It runs on square rails with simple bearings on top, below and inside the rails.
• The sliding table bearings are cheap and easy to replace and much more hygienic than the wheels used by other manufacturers.
• Machine is made from 304 stainless steel, even the mounting plate for the motor.
• The wheels are the same sizes as the ones found on Freddy Hirsch and Crown National machines and are interchangeable.
• The contactor and overload are mounted on the inside of the machine, out of the way of water.
• The on/off switch is mounted on the head of the bandsaw, easily reachable. Out of the way of trolleys.
• The lower metal guide and fiber guide is the same as used on other machines but is mounted on a stainless steel plate.
• The blade speed is slower than other machines, speed of cutting is not reduced by this. Benefits of this slower blade speed is less sawdust, slower wear on the guides, longer blade life.
